Dodatek do gry planszowej Stronghold przedstawia nową historię o obleganiu twierdzy. Tym razem pod mury zamczyska podchodzą wojska nieumarłych, wiedzione przez potężnego czarnoksiężnika. Hordy szkieletów wspierane duchami i wampirami próbują złamać obrońców i wedrzeć się do środka zamku.

Tym razem obrońcy nie walczą dla chwały, walka jest brutalna i krwawa, bowiem za żadne skarby nie wolno wpuścić nieumarłych do zamku, gdzie kryje się potężny artefakt. Rozgrywka trwa maksymalnie osiem tur – jeśli w ciągu ośmiu tur nieumarli nie zdołają wedrzeć się do zamku, ich armia rozpada się w pył. Co więcej, z każdą turą czarnoksiężnik dysponuje mniejszą ilością energii magicznej, a w końcowych turach musi wręcz zdobyć ją z różnych źródeł, inaczej bowiem jego armia zacznie się rozpadać…

With this expansion you get completely new history about siege of the stronghold. This time legions of undead, conducted by the mighty sorcerer will stand in front of the walls. Hordes of skeletons, supported by ghosts and vampires will try to break down the defenders and invade the castle.

This time defenders don't fight for glory, fight is brutal and bloody. Regardless of costs, undead cannot be let inside the castle, where mighty artifact is hidden. Play takes maximum eight rounds- if undead won't manage to get inside, they will crubmle into dust. Moreover, each round, sorcerer has less magic energy and in the end, he has to gain it from other sources, before his army starts to crumble...
